A divorced fisherman with ancestral sea powers enters a contract marriage to revive a struggling restaurant.
After his wife casts him out, fisherman Ethan Cole reveals his hidden heritage as a Guardian of the Sea when he rescues restaurant founder Margaret at the docks. A practical arrangement follows, binding him in marriage to ambitious businesswoman Claire. Ethan applies his ancestral gift to read ocean currents and follow underwater melodies, locating massive schools and braving the forbidden Siren's Cove for rare catches that transform the failing eatery overnight. As a local fishing monopoly exerts pressure and his ex-wife harasses them, the couple unites to resist, sharing their techniques with town fishermen and expanding the restaurant into an East Coast chain.
