A mortal apprentice reclaims his godhood after his mother finds him.
At eight, Kael drinks the Water of Exile to cure Athena of a devastating plague, surrendering his godhood and all memory of Olympus. He awakens in the human world and spends twelve years as an unnoticed workshop apprentice, quietly perfecting alchemy until he formulates a revolutionary cure. His fiancée Ella seizes the formula, presents it to a noble house as her own invention, and publicly shames him before leaving for a titled suitor. Just as disgrace settles, Athena locates him after years of searching across realms; her recognition restores his lost memories and reveals that his father reigns as a dragon king.
