On a rain-soaked Thanksgiving night, six-year-old Angie is left alone by her father and encounters Vincent, the city's most feared don. She offers him a muddy sweet roll, a simple act that spares his life. Moved, Vincent adopts her and raises her as his treasured princess within his criminal empire. Years later, the greedy birth relatives who abandoned her reappear, while rival factions plot murder against the household. Angie places herself in danger to defend the only father she has ever known, standing beside Vincent as the former unwanted daughter becomes the cherished heir to his underworld domain.
